John Bert Prince, III

John Bert Prince, III was born in
Mullins, S.C. to Marie Gaskins Prince and J.B. Prince, Jr. He
graduated from the University of Georgia in 1964 with a Bachelor of
Business Administration and began his professional career at the age
of 23 when he acquired the Chevrolet dealership in Tifton, Georgia.
Mr. Prince is not only an asset to his business but to his community
as well. He has given his time to service as President of the
Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of United Way, the Abraham Baldwin
Agricultural College Foundation Board, and the Community Foundation
of South Georgia. However, he is most known for his commitment to
First Community Bank and Tift Regional Medical Center. He has been a
board member of First Community Bank for over 36 years where he
served as Chairman of the Board.
